its raining here on earth

first day of summer today, yet the rain has made its way to earth.
theres a freshness about it though cleansing the day before the sun will show its presence.
i watched kids play in puddles today barefoot, jumping about anxiously, squealing experiencing the joy of rain.
i looked around and wondered if anyone would mind if i joined in.
i wish i had of now, i will next time.
i wish for a a daisy chain & a lover.

she knew...

'Somehow she knew that you didn’t get many moments like this in your life: moments when you knew, without any doubt, that you were alive, when you felt the air in your lungs and the wet grass beneath your feet and the cotton on your skin; moments when you were completely in the present, when neither the past nor the future mattered.'

where does the love go?

love comes and goes like he knows what he wants to do
its here, then its there, doesnt really seem to care if im in or out with you
were lovers today,
then it changes in the blink of an eye
and I would stand here forever
if I believed I could ever feel the same way again in time
where does the love go?
where does the love go? go, go?
love comes and goes like he's got somewhere else he needs to be
and he rushes out the door before I get a chance to ask love why he wants to leave
you're standing over there with my father,
on the wrong side of the room
and something inside me dies, and I wish I could feel the way I used to,

but I dont.
love comes and goes like hes got another home away from me
got a spare set of keys and a house on the beach,
i know, i know
well love he gets tired and he decides to run away,

run away, run away
leaves me standing here with your broken heart
what can I say, what can I say, but where does the love go?

where does the love go?

let the breeze carry you away

" Life: it loves the young
The spring is short and summer brings hotter days for sleeping through.
Open your windows wide, the breeze carries the sea- it lives for you, now
Break off a piece of chocolate and hold it in your mouth.
Laugh when the wind catches at your dress- it only wants to play.
Life lives for the young.
So live... "

spent the day dreaming

'Without you in my arms, I feel an emptiness in my soul. I find myself searching the crowds for your face - I know it's an impossibility, but I cannot help myself.' 'I held her close to me with my eyes closed, wonering if anything in my life had ever been this perfect and knowing at the same time that it hadn't. I was in love, and the feeling was even more wonderful than I ever imagined it could be.'
'And when her lips met mine, I knew that I could live to be a hundred and visit every country in the world, but nothing would ever compare to that single moment when I first kissed the girl of my dreams and knew that my love would last forever.'
'Noah: "You wanna dance with me?"
Allie: "Sure. Now?"
Noah: "Mmm Hmm"
Allie: "You're not supposed to dance in the street."
Noah: "You are supposed to dance in the street."
Allie: "Yeah, but we don't have any music."
Noah: "Well, we'll make some... Bum bum bum bum bum bum..."
Allie: "You're a terrible singer."
Noah: "I know."
Allie: "And I like this song.'
'I love you more than there are stars in the sky and fish in the sea.'
'You can't live your life for other people. You've got to do what's right for you, even if it hurts some people you love.'
'And I learned what is obvious to a child. That life is simply a collection of little lives, each lived one day at a time. That each day should be spent finding beauty in flowers and poetry and talking to animals. That a day spent with dreaming and sunsets and refreshing breezes cannot be bettered. But most of all, I learned that life is about sitting on benches next to ancient creeks with my hand on her knee and sometimes, on good days, for falling in love.'
All quotes by Nicholas Sparks.
'You are, and always have been, my dream.'
